The wind tore at my exposed face while I fought the elements to reach the summit. Little did I know that the course I had taken was seldom travelled. The reason was evident. The route I had planned and the sudden weather conditions put me at risk. A friend had suggested MountainSentry.com the Online guide to mountaineering in North America and around the World. Had I followed his advice my life may not be in danger now. A little extreme? Maybe, but knowledge is power. If you can learn from the experience of others that have gone before you, it makes sense to find and use these resources. This is what MountainSentry is all about...sharing information.
